Canada Holds Second Express Entry Draw of The Week
The second Express Entry draw of the week was held by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). In a category-based selection draw for French language proficiency, the department issued 300 invitations to apply (ITAs). To be considered, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 486. This draw follows the most recent one on October 24, when 1,548 candidates with a minimum CRS of 776 were invited in the first PNP-only lottery since May 10. Because candidates in the Express Entry pool who are also nominated by a province receive an additional 600 CRS points, the minimum CRS score for PNP drawings tends to be higher.
